Surrounded on three sides by acres of open fields and a semi-wooded valley with views of Todi in the distance, this former stable house has been reinvented with simplicity and minimalist contemporary design.
The old stone exteriors give way to bright, expansive interiors remodeled with lofty ceilings, polished concrete floors and a fresh reinterpretation of the space. Combining the industrial elements of a loft space and the timelessness of a traditional stone country house, it gets both of them right.
The main living area is bright and expansive and includes both the open plan gourmet kitchen and dining areas that lead out and upward to the five bedrooms staggered throughout. The exterior spaces are expansive and generous with vast green lawns, gardens and wooded areas and include covered terraces for dining al fresco and a large pool with panoramic views of the beautiful Umbrian countryside.

Endlessly picturesque, the Perugia area of Umbria remains one of the most idealized settings in Italy and the villa is within reach of several areas not to be missed.
The nearby town of Todi famous for its architectural history and contemporary livability, overlooks the east bank of the river Tiber, commanding distant views in every direction. Bordering Tuscany, Le Marche and Lazio, it's a beautifully historic medieval town, surrounded by a succession of ancient concentric walls representing the medieval, Roman, and Etruscan influences of the time.
The stunning hilltop capital city of Perugia with its beautiful historic center is a thirty-minute drive and is also a contemporary university town with great nightlife and youthful energy. I
deally situated within ninety minutes to some of the most beautiful and important regions of Tuscany including the Chianti area and the wine capitals of Montepulciano and Montalcino, Siena, Pienza, Lake Trasimeno, Orvieto and Assisi. Florence is two hours north.
