This stylish penthouse apartment is situated in the idyllic alpine village of Vignogn overlooking incredible views of the Val Lumnezia (Valley of the Light). Built in 2013, and designed with the latest in sustainability and eco-energy standards, this modern vacation rental in Switzerland is a family oriented all season retreat designed to take advantage of the gorgeous alpine environment in simplicity, tranquility and comfort.

Facing south to capture both the sun and the 360 ° panoramic views of Val Lumnezia, the apartment is sleek and refined but with a welcoming ambiance. Furnished by the owners, who are interior designers, the simple chic design has a timeless quality with an eye for detail. The living areas are bright and comfy and designed for convivial holidays with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area that seats up to eight.

The Scandinavian-inspired furnishings and decor are minimalist and chic and pair both style and function. The master suite has one of those deep soaking tubs with a view that you'll want to sink into and linger and there is an additional suite as well as a room designed specifically for kids with two sets of bunk beds.

The sunny terrace is the spot for spectacular views of the mountain landscapes and there is a shared garden and playground for guests use. There is a ski slope nearby and in summer guests can relax at one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Switzerland. A family-friendly all-season destination, this is the ideal holiday rental to enjoy it all.

One of the lesser known and less traveled valleys in the Swiss Alps, the stunningly beautiful Val Lumnezia in the Graubunden Surselva region encompasses the charming Alpine villages of Vella, Vignogn, Cumbel, Morissen, Degen, Vattiz, Lumbrein and Vrin. With its north-south orientation, the valley is known for its more temperate Mediterranean climate and also its spectacular alpine beauty and all season recreation.

The Davos Muntz Badesee lake is within walking distance and the ski areas of Brigels, Flims-Laax and Disentis are within a twenty minute drive, with over one hundred kilometers of pistes and trails that comprise the Obersaxen Mundaun right at your doorstep. The city of Chur is within an hour's drive and is the oldest in Switzerland with both Zurich and Basel within two hours' drive.
