If Beverly Nguyen and Clara Cornet tell you where to go, you should probably pay attention. The former is a stylist and founder of Beverly's, dubbed "the coolest shop in New York City" by Elle Decor. The latter heads up fashion and beauty partnerships at Instagram and co-founded innovative natural wine brand Canetta. In the run-up to this fall's Fashion Week, we picked their highly discerning brains for the best places to eat, drink, shop and explore in Milan.
Here’s what they shared.

EAT
Beverly: Da Giacomo will always be my first and last stop in Milan. Its seasonal menu immediately transports you to Milan with arms wide open. You’re greeted with traditional Milanese service, and entertained by the people watching alone. The restaurant was also designed by Renzo Mongiardino so every square inch of the experience feels charming and understated. Via Pasquale Sottocorno 6, Angolo Via Benvenuto Cellini, 20129 Milan
Beverly: Traditional Milanese dining perfect for lunch, it’s my favorite two-hour midday treat after seeing so much design and walking all over the city. Everything is freshly made—go for the risotto, and don’t miss the mushrooms or artichokes if they’re on the menu! Via Santa Marta 11, 20123 Milan
Clara: An institution for its authentic Milanese cuisine, it has—hands down—the best tiramisu in Milan and great service. An overall timeless classic. Via Fiori Chiari 21/5, 20121 Milan
Clara: If you’re looking for something other than Italian food, then this is your next stop! This tiny hole-in-the-wall sandwich spot has everything that you’re craving, from egg sando to vegetarian curry, and it’s finger lickin’ good. Via Bonvesin de la Riva 3, 20129 Milan
Clara: For the most heavenly ice creams and angel cakes, this connoisseur spot was recently opened by two Lebanese sisters, and you’ll be surprised by the wonderful flavors ranging from rose to orchid sorbet. Via Filippo Corridoni 1, 20122 Milan

DRINK
Clara: A beautifully designed bar on multiple floors, inside a narrow building. Come for happy hour, stay for the night. Corso di Porta Vigentina 12, 20122 Milan
Clara: A fun late-night wine bar that serves small dishes, an incredible selection of natural wine, and always the best of vibes. Via Cesare Saldini 2, 20133 Milan
Clara: The ultimate Milanese bar, known to have invented the Spritz, needs no introduction. Via Plinio 39, 20133 Milan
SHOP
Beverly: A superior gourmet market founded in 1883(!), Peck is filled with exquisite packaging and even more impeccable in-house pantry goods. They make their own teas, which are the perfect token takeaway. Via Spadari 9, 20123 Milan
Beverly: I often travel light and don’t tend to collect too many trinkets along my travels, especially for quick trips, but I would never leave Milan without stopping into Pettinaroli, one of the oldest stationary stores in Italy. You can find paper goods, leather home objects and diaries in every color under the sun. Via Brera 4, 20121 Milan
Clara: An adorable grocery for all your pantry needs, as well as home goods and a great selection of natural wines! Via Macedonio Melloni 33, 20129 Milan

VISIT
Clara: A historic residence designed by Rationalist architect Piero Portaluppi and built between 1932 and 1935, it’s surrounded by a large and gorgeous private garden with a tennis court and swimming pool. Truly a landmark, and a must visit. Via Mozart 14, 20122 Milan
Clara: Located in a former gin distillery dating from 1910 and founded by renowned fashion designer and art collector Miuccia Prada, the Fondazione is truly a feast for sore eyes. The new home of Fondazione Prada is an unmissable architectural landmark by OMA architecture. Make sure to stop for coffee at Bar Luce, designed by American filmmaker Wes Anderson. Largo Isarco 2, 20139 Milan
