On organic farmland laced with olive groves and Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Merlot grapevines, lies a pastoral paradise, anchored by an ancient church and farmhouse.
As it was found in an abandoned state, the new owners of this home in Perugia, Italy, set about restoring both the buildings and the land, and turning the two structures into one villa that could be enjoyed by large groups of friends and families.
Today, the masterpiece of a villa has retained its bones, flaunting magnificent arches, brickwork and wood beams, with large windows where the light spills in and views reach the surrounding meadows and pasture filled with the diamonds of the kitchen (truffles, of course).
