This spacious apartment is located in central Paris, adjacent to the Gare de l'Est. The building it occupies is a former warehouse dating back to 1850, which sheltered the archives of the SNCF (French National Railway Company). Today, it has been refurbished and converted into apartments. This loft is located on the upper floors and retains much of its original charm, with features like the staircase and the bookcase preserved.The property is accessed by a private glass elevator which soars alongside one of the biggest vertical gardens in the world. In spite of its central location, the apartment is peaceful in the daytime and at night. An immense teak footbridge, shared by the lofts, serves as a terrace, and is furnished with armchairs, chairs and tables - perfect for dining or just taking in the sun.The loft is 7m high and split into two levels: second floor and mezzanine. <h2 id="aoncederelict19thcenturywinefactoryexudesvintageglamourasasmallhotel">A Once Derelict 19th-Century Wine Factory Exudes Vintage Glamour as a Small Hotel</h2>
<p>Discovered by chance by two avid world travelers, this 19th-century wine factory in central Milan has been painstakingly restored and reimagined by its hosts as a personal place where tradition, design, craftsmanship and the joy of travel converge. Native Milanese, Fabio and Marco have injected the building with sophistication and eye-catching design, collecting and showcasing several decades of modernist design and furnishings, from 1960's Canovas wallpapers and 1970's decor, to Paolo Buffa, Gio Ponti and Le Corbusier vintage modern furnishings. All this mixed with handwoven Darjeeling carpets and early 20th-century Spanish pieces and presided over by the intriguing 18th-century Neapolitan portrait of Serafina Albertini, Princess of Cimitile, who is the patron grande dame of the property.</p>
<p>The space has grown to include four rooms with two large terraces, the veranda and breakfast area in the original "headquarters" building, two rooms in a renovated building across the street called Ca' di Facc, and two apartments, La Favia Suite and Cola Montano 8.</p>

<p>Designed and built by the owners as a partially off-grid family homestead, this vacation home for rent in Spain sits in a magnificent and private landscape on eight acres of Mediterranean pine forest and orchards, with limestone terraces leading down to two intersecting rivers.</p>
<p>Constructed of steel, wood, and concrete, the structure is partially subterranean, with the central dome serving as the primary shelter space, and a massive cantilevered aperture at the center. The angular, outward-facing walls of glass focus the views on the stunning scenery and serve to ventilate the whole house.</p>
