The guest will receive a refund if the booking is canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay. If the guest cancels 14-30 days before the start of the stay, they will receive a 50% refund. If they cancel within 14 days of the start of the stay, no refund will be given.
All refunds are subject to a credit card fee of up to 3.5%.

Notes | Seasonal pool heating fee: $75 per 3 day stay or $100 for a week stays. ARRIVAL: Upon entrance please go through the house and report any damages within two hours of arrival. If there is no report of any damage, the tenant assumes responsibility for damages incurred during the rental period. Furniture, electronics, and artwork are not to be moved. Premises left dirtier than what is considered normal will result in additional cleaning costs. I expect guests to leave the house in the same condition it was received. SMOKING -Please no smoking in the house. Smoking in the front of the house or deck is permitted. Please do not leave any cigarette butts on the property. A garbage pail has been provided on the outside deck for disposal of cigarette butts. Smoking inside the house results in the loss of the entire Security Deposit. There is a $50 charge for leaving cigarette butts on the property. KEYS: We provide two sets of keys. Both keys must be returned to the lockbox at the end of your stay. Lockbox combination will be given on the day of your arrival. There is a $50 charge for lost keys. WOOD BURNING STOVE: Open the door of the wood burning stove and create a fire-bed. Place firelighters and wood on the fire-bed. Keep the doors closed. There are long matches by the fireplace along with fire starter wood chips. Please remember to clean up after yourself! Keeping the area clean is key for your own safety. If you have any questions contact owner or property manager. FIRE PIT: remember to put out all fires after use. ALARM SYSTEM: Please do not unplug the alarm system. The alarm is off so do not worry about it going off. However, unplugging it puts the system out of whack. BATHROOM The house runs on a septic system. Please dispose of all baby wipes, paper towels sanitary products, and food scraps in the garbage instead of in the toilets. The bathroom is equipped with disposable sanitary bags. POOL: There is a fence around the pool for child safety. Please note that all members of the guest party most sign the pool waiver. Please, please do not touch the pool equipment besides the pool heater. I understand if you have a pool or know how to operate a pool. However, I have a local maintenance person. If for any reason, the pool is not operating properly, please contact me right away. Renters are charged propane rates for heating the pool. Please only turn on the pool heater when in use. Remember to shut off the pool heater. How to operate pool heater: The heater is the large square box labeled: Hayward. Press the mode button until it lands on “Pool.” Please give it 15 minutes to get started. You will know it’s running once the heat comes out of the box. Remember guests are charged current propane rate to heat the pool. Please be mindful of the usage of the pool heater. When not in use, please turn the heater off. Also, keep in mind that the pool will stay heated once you reach the desired temperature. If there are any issues, please notify the owner immediately. Cleaning Pool Skimmer Basket: the skimmer basket is located at the side of the pool (white circular object). Remove the access hatch and empty the basket. The skimmer should be cleaned daily. You will find leaves, debris and etc in there. Keeping it clean helps maintain the pool's filter system. Easy and quick. Deck light: there is a switch on the deck to the right of the pool equipment. Turn on for strip lights. The switch for the large deck light is inside the house by the front door. Please note: No Children 16 and younger are allowed to use the pool unless an adult is present. No impaired individual allowed in the pool area. All pool toys must be removed from the pool area after use and return to storage. There is a basket by the living room door with towels. Please do not sit on the sofa wet ☺ If there are any issues or concerns regarding the pool, please contact the owner. AIR CONDITIONER: The large A/C in the living cools the entire cabin. There is a light switch by the bookshelf. Please turn on and off as needed.
