This angular, whitewashed structure sits only steps from the sea, and like its neighbors, features a cool, contemporary footprint with modern loft sensibilities and breezy, beach house-styled interiors created by local designer Eric Sanchez.

All whitewashed angles and glass, this modern beachfront villa for rent in Corsica sits only steps from the sea and features a private dipping pool and a turf-lined rooftop terrace for chilling out, modern Mediterranean style, on a private coastline in the northeast of the island.

The creation of Parisian architect Vincent Leprince, the angular home showcases wide glass windows and sliding doors, minimalistic décor and sundrenched terraces with big views out to sea. Interiors by Bastia-based designer Eric Sanchez are casual and coastal-inspired, with rattan and wood furnishings and fixtures joining colorful pillows and art in the living area, and more muted textiles and paintings in soothing, seafaring shades of blues and greens in the bedrooms.

The villa’s kitchen is pristine and sparkling, an all-white prep space with a casual dining room that offers views onto the bright pool terrace and beyond.

Bastia’s ancient, picture-perfectcitadel is one of the Mediterranean’s most iconic. The villa sits in the region of Haute-Corse (the island’s northeast), and its waterfront is unspoiled and wild, with grass, pines, and the island’s famed maquis, or aromatic shrubbery separating it from the sea. Activities include watersports of every kind, hiking the serrated coastline, and driving up twisting roads that dead end in crumbling hilltop villages lost in time.

Bastia is a gateway to the Cap Corse peninsula, a particularly wild part of the island famed for its muscat wine, clifftop villages, and remote rocky inlets with tiny, picturesque ports hidden amid massive boulders and jutting shores.

Covid-19 Policy	Only in the event the cancellation is a direct result of the pandemic (government orders the stoppage of vacation rentals or the authorities decide to restrict travel from the country of origin or to the country where the property is located), guests will be given the opportunity to receive full credit for their reservation if they rebook within one year. If the guest is unable to take the credit, the guest will receive a full refund if the booking is canceled at least 14 days before the arrival date. If the guest cancels 1 -14 days before the start of the stay they will receive a 50% refund. If they cancel within 24 hours of the stay, no refund will be given.
