This waterfront property was designed with peace in mind. Surrounded by nature with magnificent views of Tuthill Cove, Moriches Bay, and the Westhampton Dunes, it's ideal for gentle strolls through its 2.5-acre gardens, or soaking up sunrises from its outdoor deck or lounge area. The coastal mood continues inside the house, with its sophisticated beach vibe.
Interiors are spacious at 4,200sqft, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms across three floors. The entire top floor is dedicated to the generous primary suite with king bed, balcony, sitting area, gym, massive closet, laundry, and bathroom. The latter features a rainfall jetted shower and deep soaking Jacuzzi tub with panoramic views.
The central floor is filled with natural light, and an open floorplan leads to a huge outdoor terrace that's perfect for dining, gathering and entertaining. There's also a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen on this level, with a giant island and double oven, plus two guest rooms (one with a bunk bed, the other with a queen), one ensuite bathroom, and a full guest bathroom.
The lower level has two further bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen sofa bed, as well as a bathroom with wet room/soaking tub, and a large recreation space. There's another terrace on this level. The large garden has a children's play structure, and there's also a personal dock for sitting on, swimming from, or just sipping your morning coffee.
AROUND
The pastoral neighborhood around the house invites long walks, sunset boat rides, kayaking, fishing, and a variety of other water sports. When you're ready for more, visit the local farm stands, the general store, or nearby beaches—all within 10 minutes of the house. The local countryside is filled with native flora and fauna, encouraging a slow deep exhale.
Ninety minutes from Manhattan, the hamlet of East Moriches is a waterfront community and escape from the big city, with a wholesome small-town connection. Located just west of the Hamptons and close to multiple barrier-island ocean beaches, it offers natural beauty and water's edge living without the crowds, traffic, and prices, while providing easy access to both the North and South Fork beaches, vineyards, farm stands, restaurants and stores.
