Discovered in a state of neglect, the owners have carefully preserved the identity of the original structure, crafting a seamless modern renovation in continuity with the historic aspects of the building.
The two-story home once housed livestock on the ground floor which now features a polished and contemporary version of it's rural charms with an elegant sitting room, a formal dining room, and a sleek, fully equipped kitchen.
Using natural materials and a calm color palette, the interiors have been restored with elegant finishes and contemporary flourishes by Dutch brand Rivièra Maison. The result is a harmonious restoration that retains the historic essence of the structure through natural modern design.
Tucked away upstairs in the building's rustic stone and timber eaves are six double bedrooms with space for up to fourteen guests. Some of the rooms include lovely soaking tubs with views.

PISA PROVINCE
This region of Tuscany is ideally situated close to several amazing historic towns in the province of Pisa and only twenty minutes from the Etruscan coast.
Just outside of the medieval village of Pieve di Santa Luce, in the Santa Luce Nature Reserve, the area of rolling hills, endless wheat and lavender fields inspired the Macchiaioli painters. The nearby lake and Oasis of Santa Luce is a peaceful spot to take in the scenery and the largest Buddhist center in Europe is in nearby Pomaia.
For day trips, the Etruscan town of Volterra is an hour south. A fortified town encircled by ancient walls, its historic center is charming and lively with great trattorias, bars and artists' shops as well as the fascinating remains of the Acropolis, ancient temples and a Roman-era theater.
The atmospheric port town of Livorno is thirty minutes west on the Tyrrhenian coast and is worth a visit. Tuscany's third-largest city, its elegant Belle Epoque architecture, lively piazzas, network of canals, and multicultural history lends it a cosmopolitan vibe along with a reputation for some of the region's best seafood.
Ninety minutes north, Pisa, known for its famed leaning tower is a vibrant university town, with a lively cafe society scene and beautiful Renaissance and Gothic architecture.
Tuscany's crown jewel of Florence is just an hour's drive north and some of the region's best beaches including Castiglioncello, Marina di Cecina, Forte dei Marmi, and Marina di Bibbona are within a thirty-minute drive.
