Set above the shores of southern Corsica on almost two acres of wild land, this luxury villa sits among the rugged southern countryside dotted with amazing wind-carved rocks and within walking distance of idyllic blue coves.
The bright and expansive living room, dining area and kitchen form a harmonious environment that extends outward through large retractable bay windows that create a fresh indoor-outdoor flow. The whitewashed interiors are kept simple, with casual modern furnishings, minimal decor and pops of color designed to highlight the natural environment.
Ideal for entertaining, the open-air spaces lead out to the poolside terrace with a summer kitchen and bar, a plancha and pergola and dining for 10, all with panoramic views over the gardens and out to sea.
The second level is a generous space with a large en-suite master bedroom and an office that opens onto a large private terrace with amazing sea and nature vistas and an outdoor shower. A separate entrance leads to a wing consisting of three bedrooms that are ideal for kids and additional guests.
The infinity pool is front and center for summer fun and is surrounded by park-like gardens with secluded spots that include a hammock hideaway and peaceful lounge areas with hiking trails that lead down to the coast.

AROUND
Just outisde of the quiet village of Pianottoli, the villa is away from tourist centers but close to the best of southern Corsica. The nearby Gulf of Figari is one of the best spots on the island for windsurfing and kitesurfing and the local port of Caldarello is where you can rent a boat for trips to the islands of Lavezzi and Cavalo.
Just an hour north is the Gulf of Valinco and the charming village of Olmeto above the hills and canyons of Propriano with beautiful views of the bay. The magnificent archaeological site of Filitosa with the stunning Neolithic megaliths are just north of that and worth a visit.
The famous fortress and historic harbor town of Bonifacio sits at the southernmost tip of the island just 15 minutes away, and the Porto Vecchio peninsula is within a half hour drive. You can get to Sardinia with a one hour ferry ride.
