This striking contemporary villa is located on the east coast of Corsica, just a few steps from the beach. The doors of the living room open onto a vast, paved terrace that spills onto the sand. There's a hammock in the shade of a pine tree, a court for playing petanque, a heated spa with a tide system, and lovely views across to the island of Monte Cristo.
The predominant theme of the building itself is white. It was designed by Paris-based architect Vincent Leprince, and its interiors are by Eric Sanchez, from the Corsican town of Basti. We love its simple, almost sculptural exterior, and its expanse of bright space inside.
The large living room is populated with contemporary Brazilian furniture and bold artworks. A glass wall separates the living space from the kitchen and the hallway that leads to the bedrooms.
There are five in total, four doubles with bright splashes of art and beautiful sea views; a fifth bedroom has two singles, perfect for kids. This luxury villa in Corsica sleeps 10 comfortably, making it a great home for families or a group of friends.
CAP CORSE

Also recommended are road trips to the famous torrents of Corte (50km), Porto Vecchio, with its white, sandy beaches (80km), and the cliffs of Bonifaccio (100km).
