This luxury boutique hotel in Germany is a charmingly traditional destination that has been not only officially BIO-certified, but conceptually redefined to capture the classic Alpine style with elegant, modern refinement.
Set on the northern side of the Alps in the picturesque spa and lake town of Bad Wiessee, this luxury boutique hotel pairs tradition and old-world elegance with modern comforts and hospitality.
Completely renovated in 2016 in cooperation with Designers Guild of England, Eco Landhaus was designed to highlight the traditional Alpine aesthetic with contemporary refinement and great attention to detail. The chalet style structure houses 13 spacious and modern rooms that offer stunning views of the mountains and Alpine surroundings.
Every room (except the Standard Double) has its own terrace or balcony, and most rooms have a beautiful view to the mountains of Tegernsee. Individually redesigned with a combination of colorful modern and vintage style, all are stylish and peaceful with luxurious beds from Hästens (in which also the royal family of Sweden sleeps) and equipped with luxury amenities.
Fully staffed, the hotel serves a delicious organic breakfast daily and there is a clubby bar for apres ski cocktails and conversation. Officially Bio-certified, the hotel and grounds are sustainably retrofitted and low impact but high style.
With plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation in both the summer and winter seasons, this hotel is a rejuvenating and relaxing destination.

AROUND
Set within the spectacular upper Bavarian spa town of Bad Weissee, the area borders beautiful Lake Tegernsee at the northern side of the Alps. In the summer months, there are miles of hiking trails to explore just outside the hotel grounds and in winter the nearby resorts of Wallberg and Spitzingsee offer all levels of excellent skiing and winter sports.
A quiet town of provincial shops and cafes, it's a great stop for carefree recreation. Both the Austrian border and the city of Munich are a short drive north or south and Salzburg is within 90 minutes east.
