Set along the famed Rue des Arenes, in the most historic part of the city, this vacation home rental in Arles is a lovingly restored gem. One of many 17th-century townhouses that line the streets, the home’s original character and period features are evident throughout, with four-meter high ceilings, centuries old stonework and graceful arches.
The grand staircase greets you on the beautiful ground level entrance hall and includes a self-contained apartment with a sitting room and double bedroom that opens out to a lovely private garden.
Extending over four levels, the main floor includes a spacious living and dining room with a bank of four windows overlooking the street. The adjacent kitchen is located near the terrace overlooking the garden, perfect for convivial lunches and barbecues under the shade of the arbor.
There are three bright and cheerful double bedrooms (one en-suite) on the second floor with a shared bathroom.
