Over 300 years old, the traditional adobe finca has been lovingly restored and transformed with all of the contemporary comforts while maintaining it centuries old character and charm.
This villa for rent in Spain, is a lovely blend of Spanish and North Africa design. Tucked away in the garden of a 300-year-old farmhouse, it offers total privacy among the lush, sheltered gardens. Situated on the outskirts of Guatiza on Lanzarote, it’s five minutes’ drive from the beach at Arrieta, and a few minutes’ walk to Cesar Manrique’s famous cactus garden.
Recently renovated, the villa combines modern facilities and amenities with all of the traditional charm and character of a 300 year old Canarian finca. The focal point is the huge, open-air garden room, with a lounge and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen that opens out via large glass doors to create a real sense of indoor/outdoor living.
There is a separate lounge area and library with a picture window overlooking views of the surrounding countryside and two double bedrooms.
The beautiful private garden, packed with tropical plants, is divided into a number of different and distinct zones and chill out spaces, including a BBQ and outdoor dining area, and a sunbathing zone equipped with comfy loungers and a spa shower, all enveloped in privacy.

AROUND
Located in the village of Guatiza, the house is well positioned to explore the less touristy side of the island. It’s just five minutes (by car) from the lovely, unspoiled beach at Arrieta and also close to Playa La Garita, which is considered one of the finest beaches on Lanzarote.
It’s within walking distance of Cesar Manrique’s famous cactus garden, built in a disused quarry, and now housing 7,200 cacti. The Jameos del Agua and the Valley of 1000 Palms are also nearby.
The village of Guatiza is unspoiled but it does have all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation – supermarket, cash point, bars and restaurants. It is surrounded in farmland and countryside which is great for exploring on foot.
