An Apulian Compound Outside of Ostuni
Surrounded by endless rows of olive trees in a peaceful sheltered garden, this vacation home rental in Puglia offers up the sweet simple charms of the region's beauty and traditions. Lightly polishing the historic structures soft forms and rustic character, the renovations have successfully blended the old with the new aspects of the property, with subtle modern enhancements that add style and comfort.
Laid out around the central garden and swimming pool, the property is a private oasis with two separate structures forming a secluded compound that can accommodate up to six guests.
Each of the two buildings' original atmosphere and characteristics are allowed to shine, with vaulted ceilings, whitewashed limestone, and wooden accents. The main house includes an updated country kitchen along with two double bedrooms and one bathroom. The adjacent lamia includes another en-suite double bedroom and a cozy living room with a sofa bed.
Set in beautiful Mediterranean gardens, the shaded veranda is the spot to enjoy a lazy morning coffee or evening aperitif, with the saltwater pool offering a cool dip on hot afternoons, with lovely views of the olive groves. Or spend evenings on the very special roof terrace, which is perfectly set up for gentle relaxation or dining with a spectacular view of the centuries-old olive groves. All of the outside areas (including the gardens and parking area) have full lighting.
OUTSIDE OF OSTUNI
Located just a few kilometers from the famous “White Town” town of Ostuni, this vacation home rental in Puglia is also just a short drive to some of the loveliest beaches on the Costa Merlata. Ideally placed for exploring the enchanting Valle d’Itria, the villages of Martina Franca, Cisternino and Locorotondo are some of the most well preserved and fascinating in Puglia.
The lovely old town of Ceglie Messapica, renowned for its excellent cuisine, is 10 minutes from the house. The charming little fishing harbor of Savelletri on the Adriatic coast can be reached in about 45 minutes, and the Ionian Sea with its Caribbean-style beaches within an hour.
The amazing Torre Guaceto nature reserve includes both a widely protected marine and wilderness area perfect for exploring the coastal beauty. Don’t miss the charming old town of Polignano a Mare, with breathtaking cliffside views of the Adriatic just 30 miles away.

We felt at home from the first moment! Villa Cardoncello is a beautiful house quietly located in olive groves that is furnished with great attention to detail. The very well-kept saltwater pool, the covered loggia with lounge corner and long dining table were definitely our highlights for a relaxed family vacation. The kitchen-living room is very well equipped, Nespresso machine with milk foam for the cappuccino in the morning, all imaginable kitchen utensils and very tasteful, partly local ceramics which always ensure a tastefully set table. It is only a short drive to Ostuni or Ceglie, where there are numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and shopping opportunities. The owners have lots of great tips that they share with their guests. We would love to come back!
Abbiamo trascorso una settimana in questa bellissima villa arredata con molto gusto in modo minimale, ma dotata di tutti i comfort: letti comodi, grandi bagni e una cucina ben attrezzata. Il posto è ideale per chi vuole staccare dalla frenesia della città e rilassarsi immerso nel verde degli ulivi. Chi ama il mare può godersi l’Adriatico o lo Ionio. Chi preferisce la tranquillità può rilassarsi a bordo piscina. La proprietà è vicina a città come Ostuni, Cisternino, Ceglia Messapica, Mesagne, Locorotondo che meritano di essere visitate. Una splendida oasi di pace e tranquillità.
