This oceanside villa on Troncones Beach in Guerrero, Mexico, was built in 2021 and offers a combination of cool contemporary style and beachfront breeziness. A study in concrete, its grey exteriors and interiors have a surprising warmth, and rich wood and black accents give them a sophisticated edge. We love the assortment of woven Acapulco-style chairs, carved wooden furnishings, and pops of green cacti.
The main structure of the house and the separate palapa living area are surrounded in an exotic garden filled with palms and succulents, as well as a large, inviting pool. Each of its four oceanview suites is air conditioned, with a private terrace and a bathroom with semi-outdoor shower. Three of the suites sleep two guests, while the fourth has an extension with a bunk bed for two, making it perfect for a family.

The property is staffed with a full-time housekeeper and groundskeeper. An English & Spanish-speaking property manager will greet you and is available for additional assistance. Daily housekeeping is provided Monday through Saturday, and laundry service, cooking services and babysitting are available at extra cost.
AROUND
This villa for rent in Mexico is located in the relaxed village of Troncones, 15 miles from the resorts of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Nestled between the Sierra Madre mountains and the Mexican Riviera, Troncones is an easygoing fishing village, with a barefoot beach vibe. It currently boasts only 250 permanent residents, who are still farmers and fishermen, and a sprinkling of foreigners who have brought a surf and yoga culture with them.
Its sandy beach stretches for three miles, with excellent surf spots at Troncones Point and Manzanillo Bay, and surf trips, board rentals and surf lessons are available. Locally owned shops, grocery stores and restaurants line the main road along the beach, and there is plenty of live music and dancing in the evenings.
Outdoor activities include the simple pleasures of beach walking and swimming, as well as biking, kayaking, hiking, fishing, yoga, boogie boarding, snorkeling, and paddle boarding. Bike and ATV rentals are available.
