This modern villa in Slovenia is the perfect place for wine lovers and foodies to enjoy the best of the wine country. Located in the heart of the Goriška Brda region near the border with Italy, Alma Vista offers all of the comforts of home with the luxury of a world-class winery and a fully-equipped wellness center for 4-8 guests.

The ground floor has a large day area and kitchen with a complete range of cooking and food preparation accessories. From the day room you can step outside onto a wooden terrace and relax poolside while taking in views of the green hills bathed in sunlight and the Adriatic Sea.

Also on the first floor are two large bedrooms with queen-sized beds, an extendable couch, and bathroom. All rooms are air conditioned.

Alma Vista is connected to the wine cellar, where you can enjoy homemade products (jam, local honey, syrup, tea, preserves, salami, and cheese), champagne, cigars, and, of course, locally produced wine. The wellness center is equipped with an infrared sauna, massage pool, and resting area. On the front lawn is an open fireplace and an area for various sports and games in the Slovenian sunshine.

The location of Alma Vista makes it possible to partake in many recreational activities from hiking, cycling, and horseback riding, to exploring the many wineries and inns in the area.

SLOVENIA'S WINE COUNTRY & GASTRONOMIC HERITAGE

The villa is surrounded by high Lars plateaux and the Vipava Hills. It’s a great region for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, parachuting and sport fishing. The region is well known for its orchards and vineyards. Hit the Vipava wine road, and try local wines like Zelen and Pinela, as well as local delicacies like prosciullo and ‘Nanoski sir’ cheese at nearby farms.

The villa is nestled among castles and little towns. Sample the region’s rich gastronomic heritage with some gourmet excess at the late-Renaissance Zemono Castle.
