An Award-Winning Passion for Design
We love the bold transformation of this historic building that both appreciates its history and reinterprets its tone and style with bolts of graphic color, curious shapes and unique furnishings designed by the owners. It's a B&B and showroom all in one.
Set in one of the most beautiful and historic neighborhoods in Antwerp, this gorgeous 19th-century building is the former Harbour Master headquarters. Built in 1880, the ornate exteriors are romantic and picturesque and conceal suprisingly dramatic and modern interiors.
Conceived and designed by a Belgium-based couple whose passion for design and product development led them to reinvigorate this historic property, the project is clearly one of their most personal canvases.
Awarded the ELLE International Design Award (EDIDA) for most talented designers, the couple's talent for residential and industrial design and innovation is part of a larger initiative and approach to buildings and interiors. Each of the five suites is individually designed with a monochromatic theme, atmospheric mood lighting and custom furnishings.
With all of the luxurious amenities and services of a hotel, this stylish B&B is a must see in Belgium's cool second city.

AROUND
Perfectly placed just a five-minute walk from the City Square and steps from the new MAS museum and the trendy old marina, the hotel is located in the coolest part of Antwerp. The area is home to a lively restaurant area with Michelin-starred eateries, shops and markets within walking distance.
Dating back to the Middle Ages, the vibrant port city is rich with medieval history along with a very lively modern beat. A center of fashion and entertainment as well as striking cultural and architectural contrasts, the city features and an avant garde appeal and a historic heart.
The centuries old central district with cobblestone streets houses the famed Diamond district as well as the 17th-century Royal Academy of Fine Arts, the fortress along the River Scheldt and the magnificent and ornate cathedral in the market square.
