Housed in a stunning 18th-century townhouse in the heart of the Baixa district, these two vacation home rentals in Lisbon have been meticulously restored by the owner. A noble building in the tradition of the elaborately ornate Baroque, Neo-classical and Rococo styles popular before and after the city's famous earthquake, the building's grand staircase and rooms are lined with the country's famous colorful tiles, with interiors awash in cool, natural whites and warm vintage style.

Following years of painstaking renovations, the building was brought back to its original splendor, with all of the authentic features and historic character remaining intact. 

Each of the rooms were named after and inspired by a different park in Lisbon, and designed with thoughtful details for comfort and a feeling of home.

Sourced from antique shops throughout Europe, the many vintage treasures that populate the apartments  were collected to create interiors that mix contemporary living with old world charms.

Metro station Terreiro do Paço is down the block and will take you throughout Lisbon and beyond.

Firmly suited for the 20th century as well as it’s historic past, Lisbon takes contemporary design seriously and boasts Pritzker prize winning works from Alvaro Siza Vieira (Expo 98) as well as great street art and contemporary installations throughout the city. 

Gustav Eiffel’s apprentice Raul Mesnier designed and built the neo-Gothic Elevador de Santa Justa where you’ll get the same kind of sweeping city views as it’s cousin in Paris. 

The old tram system is great for navigating the ornate cobblestone streets that twist through town and up and down the seven hills
