Crisp, classic and traditional, this newly restored estate house has all of the native Algarve charm and classic architectural simplicity of the region, along with the peaceful rural lifestyle we love.

Located along the coast in the southern Algarve just minutes from the shore, this country house was restored from the ground up and designed to recreate and honor the traditional Portuguese aesthetics of rural life.

Situated among vast stretches of orchards, the property offers a variety of homegrown products for farm-fresh food enthusiasts, from almonds and figs, citrus and plums, grapes, berries, pomegranates, and fresh eggs and livestock. It's an idyllic and peaceful habitat with the classic and simple silhouette, whitewashed exteriors and a virtual absence of decorative elements that harkens back to simpler times.

Constructed of locally sourced limestone, wood and terracotta, both the interiors and exteriors are bright and charming with a back-to-basics approach and relaxing comforts.

With four en-suite bedrooms, the house can accommodate up to eight guests and is perfect for intimate getaways for family and friends. The living and dining area are off the large kitchen that serves breakfast every morning and is also fully equipped for self catering. The pool and terraces are perfect for dining, lounging and enjoying the vast outdoor spaces.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Wifi throughout (please note it's a tad slow), TV and DVD can be provided in room upon request, stereo audio stystem with classical and Jazz CDs. Housekeeping and laundry facilities, Towels are changed in the middle of the week and on Saturdays (bed linens are also changed on Saturdays during the house cleaning). High chair, baby bath and cot are available free of charge. Parking.
