Located in the most charming neighborhood of "old town" Faro, this turn-of-the-century townhouse was given a fresh update, with simple aesthetics and values that reflect the architect and owner's take on Portuguese culture and tradition.

Built at the beginning of the last century, the recently refurbished house combines authentic character with simple, modern principles that update the space while keeping the intimacy and history. 

Laid out on a single level, the interiors are bright and open with windows that flood the rooms with natural light. The whitewashed walls and wood floors keep it simple and fresh with a mix of just a few contemporary furnishings and decor. The two bedrooms and sleeper sofas can accommodate up to six guests, with a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining areas that seat six. 

Within walking distance of everything, incuding the pier and all of the central historic attractions, you'll be immersed in the historic flavor and personality of Faro and the Algarve.

The southernmost city in Portugal, Faro is the Algarve capital and has both a well preserved medieval beauty and a contemporary feel. The marina and historic old town plazas are part of it's charm and it's well positioned to some of the best beaches along the coast and directly adjacent to the beautiful Ria Formosa Preserve and Ilha Deserta. 

Other points of interest within range include: Tavira to the east, and Albufeira, Lagos, Portimao and Silves to the west. Seville is just an hour and half away and Lisbon is a couple of hours drive north.
