Old World Ambiance & Modern Tuscan Living

Alternating between the rustic charms of the countryside, and polished contemporary style, this villa for rent in Tuscany is a unique fusion of old world ambience and modern living.

The classic stone villa's history paired with tasteful and careful restoration and striking contrasts shines with unique detail, thoughtful design and plush comforts to make you feel at home.

Recently restored to modern standards, the intent is to fully experience and capture the time and place that is Tuscany.

The UK-based owners who live and work in New York, put equal parts heart and style into the property, delivering on la dolce vita and welcoming hospitality.

Set in a remote mountain village of just a few dozen residents, this is the retreat for those who enjoy nature, the slow pace of village life, and just chilling on the terrace with a glass of wine and a gorgeous view.

Nestled between majestic mountains and the Italian Riviera coastline, this villa for rent in Tuscany is an ideal mountain retreat to share.

Completely restored, the rustic stone clad exteriors give way to stylish modern interiors full of light and elegant, understated style.

The ground floor includes multiple interconnected spaces, including a living room with a fireplace, a separate dining room with seating for eight guests, and a sleek modern kitchen that opens out to a lounge and dining terrace with captivating views of the Tuscan countryside. It also includes an en-suite master bedroom with its own terrace, and there are four additional double bedrooms that sleep a total of eight guests.

There are several terraces for sunbathing and al-fresco dining and grilling, and a garden with fresh organic herbs for cooking.

Together, the sense of history and modern style are an inspired pairing that celebrates the best of the house and the culture of Tuscany.

    AROUND

The small hilltop village of Vezzanello boasts stunning views from its perch of the Carrara region and the neighboring Appennino Alps and National Park and makes an excellent base for exploring the far western region near the Tuscan coast.

Noted for the prevalence of the charming and characteristic Medieval stone villages and castles, this verdant area is remarkably untouched by tourism. There are many hiking trails and outdoor adventure  in the surrounding areas, and the Mediterranean coast is within an hour drive with the beautiful beaches of Lerici and San Terenzo and charming seaside towns.

The neighboring towns of Massa, Sarzana and Carrara, home of the fabled marble used by Michelangelo, are all under an hour away.

The Spezia region sits along the Ligurian Coast comprised of the “The Five Lands” of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore and is just a short distance from stunning UNESCO heritage site of the Cinque Terre.

This is a rugged stretch of the Italian Riviera and is part of the National Park. The beautiful central village of colorful terraced homes is perched along the cliffs overlooking the sea and is one of the most visited spots in Italy.

Pisa and Lucca are ninety minutes south and Genoa is under two hours north and make great day trips.
