Traditional Style with a Modern Twist
This whitewashed villa sits on a hilltop between Alicante and Valencia, looking down on the Costa Blanca and out across the Mediterranean. It's an authentic Spanish-style home, with interiors by Belgian designers Ilse Gielen & Ingrid Bijnens. Rooms are minimalist with a white palette, natural wood elements, and black accents
The living area, with its sofa by Italian designers Flexteam and a fireplace built into the wall, adjoins the dining room with its sea views and seating for eight guests. Next to that, you'll find a gourmet kitchen made from Mortex micro mortar and stained oak, with Smeg appliances. Throughout the house, there is glassware by Dutch interior designers HKliving, and other pieces from Belgian design label Serax.
The villa is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden full of palms and flowering plants, and abundant living areas. There's a large pool with a poolhouse, an outdoor kitchen with a woodfired oven and barbecue, and a naya, a Spanish-style wood-beamed terrace, with sofas for relaxing under slivers of Spanish sunlight.
This villa for rent in Spain has four bedrooms on two separate floors, making it ideal for a large family or a group of friends.
On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen, living room and dining room, with space for eight guests. One floor down, you'll find three bedrooms that open onto the pool terrace. One has an en-suite bathroom (with walk-in shower), and the other two share a bathroom. One floor above the ground level, you'll find a master bedroom, with its own bathroom, separate toilet and terrace.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
A private chef, grocery shopping, and massages are available for an additional charge.
AROUND
This villa for rent in Spain is close to the center of Jávea, a bustling market town on the northern edge of the Costa Blanca. The historical heart of the town includes the remains of walls that once kept out marauders as well as the beautiful Gothic Church of San Bartolomé.
The villa is also a short drive from a very popular white-sand beach, which boasts great tapas restaurants, and sea caves that were once used by pirates and smugglers but can now be visited by kayak.
The Costa Blanca is made up of over 200km of coastline. Recommended day trips include the quiet village of Moraira (18km), the fishing village Altea (44km), and the historic town of Dénia (20.5 km), with its clifftop Moorish castle which was built in the 11th and 12th centuries.
If you want to spend time in the city, Alicante and Valencia are both within reach for day trips. If you love the great outdoors, there are plenty of water sports, golf courses, and hiking trails, most notably in the Parc Natural del Montgó (17km away from the villa).
