This is a great family-friendly escape with beautiful tropical gardens that puts you right in the best part of Mal Pais. We like the bright and spacious indoor/outdoor living areas that immerse you into the jungle.

Located off shore on over an acre of tropical gardens, this newly-built villa was designed and inspired by Mal Pais's tropical climate and gorgeous coastline. It blends both the indoor and outdoor environments with its  open-plan living spaces, high-ceilings and multiple terraces.

Walls of slide-away glass doors take up the entire west-facing part of the second floor and open out to an expansive balcony overlooking the pool. The exterior space features a hot and cold Jacuzzi, a covered dining area, lounge chairs, hammock and a BBQ for an intimate, cozy environment ideal for al-fresco dining.

With four en-suite master bedrooms, one twin bedroom and four and a half baths, the house can accommodate up to 12 guests, and is ideal for families and groups. The villa is also equipped with two complete kitchens.

The bottom floor has a giant terrace with a hammock, lounge chairs and dining table overlooking the gardens and is just steps from the swimming pool and deck. 

This villa is great choice for those who want a sense of privacy during their vacation while maintaining proximity to the nightlife, restaurants, and the beautiful beaches of Mal Pais, Santa Teresa and Montezuma.

The southern Nicoya Peninsula is a particularly blessed corner of Costa Rica. Due to its relative remoteness it has retained the vibrant beauty of nature unspoiled by overdevelopment. With world class surf breaks and beaches, Santa Teresa is adjacent to Mal Pais and offers tranquility in a less densely populated area along a stretch of road with mostly private residences. Playa Hermosa is right outside your door with Manzanillo Beach to the north and nearby Playa Carmen to the south on the road to the Cabo Blanco Reserve.
