Solar panels provide eco-friendly power to the steel-framed home, and every drop of water is biologically purified and reused in the garden. The natural polish that comes from concrete and stone complements each piece of recycled wood furniture.

After a delicious meal in the kitchen, with its Alentejo marble countertops and dishes handmade by local Portuguese craftsmen, it’s just a few steps outside and into the gleaming pool. Dry off or take a nap in the lounge beds and beanbags.

Welcoming up to ten people, this villa in Algarve has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, one with a bath, and all with walk-in showers. 

The fully-equipped kitchen faces rural surroundings and sparkling Atlantic views. With a prime location that allows you to experience all the region has to offer, it’s a relaxing retreat to share with family and friends.

FACING ATLANTIC VIEWS IN THE ALGARVE

Just a short drive to the fishing village of Carvoeiro, a bustling coastal town and minutes from the coast and some of the best beaches in the Western Algarve, including Benagil Beach, Albanderia, Mariniha, and Armacao de Pera, Carvoeiro beach, Vale Centeanes, and Carvalho beach. 

The nearby resort town of Portimao is to the west on the bank of the Arade river-facing Ferragudo on the opposite bank. Above the coast are the Monchique hills, with paths and waters for walking, biking, and canoeing, and don’t miss the Moorish town of Silves a short drive to the north. Faro is an hour away to the east, and the entire region is known for its outstanding restaurants with excellent wines.
