A Coastal Escape on Portugal's Costa de Prata
Created by a young family from Germany, the home they describe as a "perfect holiday hideaway" is located on a quiet hill near Lourinhã on Portugal's Silver Coast, or Costa de Prata. The nearest beach is Paraia de Porto das Barcas, which can be reached via a small forest path in 10 minutes.
Casa Plaj was designed with the help of Lisbon-based architects extrastudio and is a minimalist space that puts views of the landscape and water front and center. There are three bedrooms (one king, one double, one with two singles) and two bathrooms, with a well-equipped kitchen, all of which are on one level.
Outside, there is a dining area as well as a saltwater pool that invites you to cool off and take in the views.
Additional information
Please note: The property cannot accommodate children under six years due to the open terrace railings.
There is an outdoor shower.
