Surrounded by lily-reflecting ponds and enclosed by 11-foot walls, it has two bedrooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and infinity pool. Daily cleaning included.

Located in the small village of Sac Chich in the most historic region of the Yucatan, the home is placed on over two acres of what were once ancient henequen drying fields for industrial production of sisal. Surrounded by the original ten-foot masonry walls of a historic neighboring Hacienda that shares the property, the fields are now a massive lawn area lined with royal palms that create a large but very private world all your own.

Constructed using the ancient Mayan technique of chukum, the limestone and plaster are polished to a sleek finish that’s elegant and earthy.

Entirely open through the middle of the structure, the central living area along with the oversized ceiling and door heights give every room a dramatic sense of space.​With a sunken living room, dining room, and fully equipped kitchen, the house is ideal for entertaining and divides the private sleeping spaces to either side.

Located in the Mayan village of Sac Chich just a half-hour from the city of Merida, you are just outside of the town of Acanceh, and just under an hour from the famous Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, Izamal, and the port town of Progresso on the gulf of Mexico. 

Situated along the convent route, there are several historic convents not to be missed including Tecoh, Muni, Mani, and Ticul as well as the Mayan Site of Mayapan. The Loltun Caves and Uxmal are an hour away and you're within a short drive to the many amazing cenotes or secret caves where you can swim in crystal clear water. Cancun is a 3-hour drive.
