Around

Located in a small Spanish hamlet about 4.5 kilometers from the village of Calpe, the property stands 15 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea, visible from the upper-level balcony that runs the full length of the house. The house is located on a quiet street with a handful of neighboring villas, and shops, services, bars and restaurants are just a quick drive away. A sandy beach with playground spaces, ideal for families, is located in Calpe, and the town is best known for its Peñón d’Ifach, a tunneled rock face that rises some 330 meters high and offers great views.

Spain’s Costa Blanca offers miles of coastline for easy exploring. The villages of Moraira and Javea are both under 30 kilometers from the home, each town offering restaurants, shops, tapas bars, terraced cafes, and markets. Javea features a nearby beach with sea caves and kayak rentals for exploring. Altea is a scenic fishing village with a small, glittering harbor and narrow streets lined with traditional whitewashed architecture. Golfers can find their greens nearby, and hikers and cyclists (both road and mountain) can easily hit the trails, the best around Montgó (20km) with its Parc Natural of the same name (32km) and its mountainous landscape.
