Situated just outside of central Cascais and a few minutes to the shore, this spacious summer house is a beloved residence of a local family who share it with guests in the summer months.

Welcoming and stylish, the contemporary home combines modern proportions and design elements with traditional Portuguese construction and materials. Bright and spacious, the open plan interiors are warm and sophisticated with plenty of space for large groups or families with enough individual rooms and spaces for restorative calm and privacy.

With a total of six bedrooms, the house can sleep up to sixteen comfortably and has a mix of choices for kids or teens and a peaceful en suite master bedroom that's the perfect private escape.

AROUND

Cascais has become a day and nighttime playground for Lisbon vacationers with large crowds of summertime revelers and a walkable old town center that is a maze of great restaurants and shops. The furthest west you can go in Europe, The Roca Cape is "where the earth ends and the sea begins," and where nearby Estoril comprises one of the sweetest spots along the Portuguese Riviera.

From Tagus Estuary to Guincho Beach, the the scenic Estrada Marginal and boardwalk is the only way to traverse the coast to Cascais. A UNESCO treasure, the Sintra-Cascais nature reserve includes breathtaking coastline and forested interiors as well as a few picturesque villages in the highlands.

The nearby Atlantic coastline is lined with beautiful beaches, like Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and Azenhas do Mar with nearby Guincho Beach considered one of the best in the country. The UNESCO town of Sintra has a rich cultural heritage that includes Moorish and European influences with several palaces not to be missed. Lisbon is a half hour drive.
