Characterized by meticulous attention to detail in an idiosyncratic fusion of nature and modern luxury, this holiday home in the Netherlands was inspired by the neighboring De Oude Banjaard National Park's wild windswept headlands and dunes.

Designed by Netherlands-based firm Bedaux de Brouwer Architects, the villa employs a subtle and timeless modernism, with an eye for its inhabitants as well as the environment.

With understated and sharply defined lines and a pronounced choice of materials, this Summer house by the sea celebrates the simple beauty of the landscape and the natural elements of water, wind, and light among the dramatic dunes.

Embedded in the coastal dunes with unobstructed views facing the waterways, this holiday home in the Netherlands was created as not only a vacation home, but a wellness retreat immersed in nature.

Designed by Netherlands-based Bedaux de Brouwer Architects, it's one of several in a development that is being delivered in phases at the site but retains its own privacy and independence.
Composed of gray brick, steel, and glass, the strikingly modern silhouette stands out within the simple, windswept beauty of the landscape.

The interiors are awash in natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows that run the full length of the living areas with panoramic views over the wide polder landscape.
Spacious and sleek, the rooms are a mix of crisp white and soft neutrals that mix natural elements and decor from the land with contemporary minimalism.
The fireside sitting room adjoins the dining area with seating for eight and the fully equipped open kitchen. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house can accommodate up to eight guests.
The main living areas open out through French doors to the gardens and a spacious and sunny south-facing terrace with a dining area and large sunbeds for catching some rays with views of the waterways.
After a long day exploring the beaches, you can warm up in the luxurious Finnish sauna with room for four.

ZEELAND
The villa is located in Zeeland within a short walk to the North Sea beach De Banjaard and the nearby De Schotsman nature reserve on the island of Noord-Beveland - also known as "The Endless Island." The windswept landscape is vast in scope, with the dunes rising up to ten meters high.

You won't find any crowds or noisy hotspots here, just miles of beach and plenty of hiking trails, water sports and outdoor recreation as well as charming local villages dotted with shops and street cafes inviting you to stroll and relax. It's just over an hour to Rotterdam and ninety minutes to The Hague.
