A Modern Alentejo Farm Defined by Tradition
Set within over 300 acres of protected land in The Natural Park of Southeast Alentejo and Vicentine Coast, these villas for rent in Portugal showcase the colors, textures and rural style defined by the local traditions, in a contemporary take on the country house.
Comprised of a main house and a separate studio, the bleached limestone, tile and timber construction follows the fundamental principles of traditional Alentejo architecture with clean lines, airy, open interiors, and an indoor/outdoor flow.
The classic, sprawling one level architectural style is a modern take on the historic farms of the past, with whitewashed interiors, timber beams and red tile lending it an authentic Portuguese flavor.
The main open-plan living space includes a lounge and dining area connected with a gleaming chef's kitchen, and an interior courtyard, encouraging visitors to explore different ways of engaging with the property.
Surrounded by olive groves, cork trees and green countryside, the extensive outdoor spaces include a dining area with a built in grill, a rooftop terrace with great views and plenty of garden space to relax in peace.
The swimming pool is a few steps away from the house with ample lounge space and lovely views of the forest.
This is the perfect place to discover and experience the culture of this rural area with friends or family. Encircled by the Mira River and untouched forests, it's a private country oasis all your own.
