Puglia's Rural Past Preserved
This luxury boutique hotel in Puglia posesses all of the unique charms and history of the Val d'Itria region's trulli and still remains a part of the its rural and agricultural past, with a stylish modern twist.
Originally built in the first half of the 19th century, the structure's sturdy limestone construction and instantly recognizable conical roofs once housed workers and peasants with attached stores for grain and straw, a millstone, and shelters for the livestock.
Today, the tradition continues, with considerable parts of the land still devoted to the cultivation of olive, grapes, fruit tress and arable crops, while the structures have undergone a careful restoration into a refined yet still authentic boutique hotel.
With just six suites, the expansive property is an intimate retreat that will help you reset and enjoy the simple country life as it has unfolded for centuries.
Enjoy foods plucked fresh daily from the farm, some of the regions best wines on your private garden patio and, in the summer months, the Fatuaria Arena Festival presented by your hosts. A celebration of local culture, it's and day of music, contemporary art exhibitions, cuisine and discovery, all within the quiet beauty of the Puglia countryside.
Overlooking the land of trulli in the Val d'Itria, this luxury boutique hotel in Puglia offers guests the simple pleasures of the past, in a peaceful rural setting of culture and nature.
Restored from centuries old agricultural dwellings and farm shelters, the authentic trulli have stood the test of time, with their sturdy but graceful structures now repurposed into a charming bed and breakfast and working farm.
The central areas have remained authentic, all in handcrafted stone, and furnished with originality, unique design and contemporary art, but also objects of rural life.
Equipped with all the comforts, each room is unique, and deliberately without television to allow a relaxing unplugged visit of absolute tranquility.
The small restaurant overlooks the carob court where breakfast is served during the summer and dinner in the evenings, with produce harvested directly from the organic gardens and locally sourced products. You can savor the authenticity of the flavors through the traditional recipes of the family chef, accompanied by a selection of very special Apulian wines.
The large private gardens are designed for relaxation and fun with a large salt water pool positioned between the centuries-old dry-stone walls and the woods, to transport you to into holiday mode.
