Situated at the entrance of a small village outside of Toulouse, this luxury villa in France is an elegant 19th-century beauty, restored to highlight its historic style. Its south-facing orientation floods the interiors with light and a cheerful ambiance. 

The ground floor is composed of two large sitting rooms, one with a lovely fireplace, a separate formal dining room which can seat up to sixteen that connects to the large contemporary eat-in kitchen. On the east side of the same floor, there's a small office that leads to a spacious en-suite master bedroom and an additional en-suite master bedroom on the north eastern side  overlooking the gardens.  A winding staircase leads to the upper floor, with four south-facing double bedrooms and two triple rooms that share two bathrooms with space for up to 16 guests.

The south-facing garden in front of the house includes a long dining table and barbeque for dining al fresco. There's a boules field waiting for its players under the trees and a large salt water swimming pool is set in the sunshine, surrounded by a grassy lawns and gardens.

The lovely village of Flourens just outside of Toulouse is ideally situated to discover the great cultural variety of the Occitanie region. Steeped in history and dramatic scenery and dotted with Cathar castles and medieval villages, the area is also renowned for outstanding food and wine. 

Known as La Ville Rose due to the blush colored bricks used in many of its buildings, the capital of France’s southern Occitanie region is bisected by the Garonne River and the Canal du Midi that spills out to the Mediterranean.

France’s fourth-largest metropolis and university town, Toulouse has a youthful energy and a vibrant street scene with teeming food markets and an enchanting old town. Famous for its Cathar castles (especially Montsegur) and historic cities, the region of Aude is also home to the stunning fortified city of Carcasonne just a few miles away with its imposing citadel, narrow cobbled stone streets and medieval beauty. The area is also known for it's picturesque countryside of lakes, forests and vineyards and rolling hills as well as the UNESCO town of Albi and the beautiful villages of the Lauragais.

Numerous prehistoric caves are located in the region famous for its geological and historic treasures including Niaux, Lombrives, Bedeilhac and Prehistoric Park where you'll find fascinating cave drawings and archeological settlements. The slopes of the Pyrenees are within two hours and the Mediterranean beaches can be reached in 90 minutes.
