A Boho-Chic Hideaway in El Pueblo Magico Todos Santos
This hacienda features a beautiful mix of colonial elegance and festive Mexican and international style with a designer's eye for detail. We love the colorful accents, the stylish boho-chic vibe, and the amazingly lush grounds.
Comprised of five separate buildings, it’s a spacious compound ideal for families or groups traveling together with the perfect mix of private and communal areas; the house is surrounded by nature, and has an organic country feeling.

Located just a short walk from the pueblo magico of Todos Santos, this beautiful hacienda sits on a five-acre private plantation of mature avocado, mango, banana, coconut, and olive trees with a seasonal river running through. Built by the owner, a French designer living in Los Angeles, each of the buildings is furnished with a chic selection of Mexican, Moroccan, and Balinese furnishings and décor and is designed for indoor/outdoor living. Featured in decoration magazine Living, as well as a special issue of Hola, this is a chic retreat with great personal style and traditional charm.

The main building is airy and bright with a soaring traditional palapa roof and arched doorways all around and a sunken fireside living room that's cozy and intimate as well as an open plan kitchen and dining area. There are two stand-alone en-suite master bedrooms, one of which shares the building with a third double bedroom. Each has refreshing outdoor showers. The fourth building is a small romantic pool house for two.
The grounds are lush and tropical arranged around the central 50-foot solar heated saltwater lap pool with outdoor couches and hammocks, and dining area. Head up to the roof terraces to catch the sunsets over the palm groves and listen to the distant rolling waves.
Around
Just a short walk outside of the vibrant and historic town of Todos Santos, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, the house is also just a fifteen-minute walk down the road to La Cachora beach. Voted one of the top ten beaches in Mexico, it’s the perfect place for whale watching, sunset walks, and horseback riding.
The Pueblo Magico is a great town to explore on foot with fresh organic markets, cafes and restaurants, art galleries, and more and is an hour’s drive between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas along the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula at the base of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains.

A dreamy space to unwind and relax. Perfect to walk into town for everything from gourmet dining to delish street tamales. The outdoor showers are so refreshing and fun. Pool of your dreams. Comfy beds with quality bedding for a sound sleep. A bit like a cottage somewhere hot! Rustic and gorgeous! The kitchen is equipped for simple meals, we enjoyed bundling up in the mornings and evenings with an outdoor fire. Tips - get in touch with the caretakers ahead of your trip to book firewood and amazing fresh produce! We can't wait to visit again soon.
Absolute dream of a holiday! Sylvie is a design genius. We started planning our next visit the moment we arrived. Todos Santos is magical and charming and the hacienda is even more amazing than you can guess by seeing photos. Jaime and Nikoll are also super helpful and lovely - highly recommend enjoying some of Jaime’s ceviche, too!
We loved everything about Sylvie’s place! It was a perfect place to spend time with our adult children while visiting Todos Santos. Plenty of room for all seven of us to spread out, and several beautiful gathering spaces to come together. We especially enjoyed the conversation pit, pool area, and outdoor fireplace. There is an organic garden on the property, and the produce is amazing! We got fresh fish from the pescadaria in town and cooked at home a couple of nights. Beds were comfy, kitchen well-appointed, and the grounds are beautiful. Good birdwatching too. Highly recommend!
The Hacienda is wonderful! We are enjoying all of it- swimming, cooking, lounging in the many varieties of chaises, chairs, and sofas, and taking in the magnificent views. Sylvie created such a paradise here- filled with treasures and many comforts. We are both cooks and are lacking for nothing in the kitchen! All the details are considered. Thank you for sharing your home!
Hacienda Los Olivos was a lush and peaceful oasis in the desert. Yet we are merely minutes walk from the town of Todos Santos itself with its many colorful and artsy cafes and boutiques. We particularly enjoyed gathering around the beautiful pool during the day and in the large, lovely sunken living room in the evening. Thank you Sylvie for your many recommendations and suggestions which had helped enhance our stay !
Your home was so beautiful, relaxing and a perfect vessel for creating new family memories for us. The sparkling pool, the gorgeous rooms, the nature and sounds, those sunsets and mornings on the roof decks were unforgettable. Thank you for creating and sharing that space! Nikoli and Jaime were awesome. Helpful and just sweet humans. Jaime's ceviche was spectacular. We hope to return someday.
