Each apartment in the historic two-story villa is airy and bright with lightly polished restorations that lend a sense of history along with all of the modern comforts for a relaxing stay. Throw open the windows to take in the scenic views and hear the calming sound of the waves from every room.

The outdoor spaces are shared by both apartments and are an extension of the indoor spaces, serving as a second living room of sorts where the sundeck overlooks the picturesque harbor, and the private garden area with a gazebo is the spot to enjoy al fresco dining with the iconic lake as your backdrop.

A CELEBRATED LAKE'S ENDURING BEAUTY

For centuries this exclusive enclave has been a celebrated destination for royalty, aristocrats and celebrities to play and enjoy the unparalleled beauty of Italy’s northern lake region. Based at the foothills of the Alps and offering dramatic scenery of the surrounding mountains and the crystal clear waters, Lake Como’s iconic character and natural beauty are uniquely atmospheric and impressive.

The medieval villages of Lezzeno run seven kilometers along the western side of the lake just northeast of Como and a few kilometers south of Bellagio. A thin strip abutting fabulous lake views with the wooded mountains at the back, there are numerous hiking routes just behind the historic center where you’ll discover ancient and well-preserved churches, piazzas, and architecture.

Dotted with charming villages and spectacular villas along both legs of the lake, the eponymous town of Como is at the southernmost tip of the western branch. The busy waterfront city has a long history and orbits around the “centro storico” old town, with picturesque piazzas and historic duomos, cafes, and a more lively urban feel.

A great launching spot for exploring the region, the ferries are the best way to take in the many lake vistas and visit the famed towns of Bellagio, Tremezzo, and Varenna.
