A Sicilian Industrial Space Makes a Smooth Transition into a Boutique Hotel

This is a fun and stylish translation of a former industrial space that makes a smooth and modern transition to a boutique hotel. We love the chic understated tone combined with earthy Sicilian character.

Located alongside the Marina di Ragusa at the southern tip of Sicily, this skillfully re-imagined former almond warehouse has been repurposed as a unique residence with fresh modern style and down to earth Sicilian heart.

Concealed within expansive walled gardens environmentally designed with native Mediterranean landscaping, a sheltered courtyard and a fabulous pool with shady lounge areas, it's a cool oasis of style and comfort.

Arranged over two floors, there are nine units that have been adapted to accommodate between two and four guests each. The ground floors feature living and dining areas and fully equipped kitchens and private baths with large glass doors that open out to private patio areas. Upstairs are the en suite bedrooms with lounge areas and private balconies for relaxing and enjoying the views of the gardens and the ocean. 

There is a separate en suite studio that sleeps two and the apartments can also be used as B&B style rooms with a delicious breakfast served daily. Each is individually designed with fresh rustic modern style and an interesting and varied collection of contemporary, salvaged and one-of-a-kind furnishings and decor.

The pool bar serves drinks and light lunches throughout the day and breakfast is served in the dining room or alfresco in the courtyard. There's a reading room as well as a shared lounge and media room where you can kick back and relax. Enjoy the culture, food, wine, and distinctively modern and authentic Sicilian character and charm here where style and lifestyle meet.

SICILY'S SOUTHERN COAST

A short walk to the Andrea Doria promenade and a thirty-minute drive to Ragusa and some of the best beaches on the island, you are also adjacent to the beautiful Vendicari Nature Reserve. 

The nearby UNESCO treasures of   “sister” cities Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto are stunning examples of the greater Val di Noto Baroque settlements. Marina di Modica, Marina di Ragusa and Sampieri beaches are some of the best on the island and are within a short drive. 

Syracuse and Catania are just up the coast along with the famous Mt. Etna.
