The world’s largest ski area, perched at altitudes between 1,300 and 3,200 meters, it encompasses seven ski resorts: Courchevel, Meribel, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Vals Thorens, and Orelle. With 600 kilometers of runs, about half green and blue, it’s a great spot for families and groups of friends who ski at different levels. Take one of the resort’s 158 lifts to one of its 25 summits, and pick your line. Or follow an itinerary that takes that lets you ski the area’s 10 most panoramic views, including staggering Mont Blanc.
