This 15th-century home is a stunning example of authentic medieval life and architectural character. Lovingly restored with respectful and careful attention to detail and history, the amazing features of this former hunting lodge and fortified estate remain. From the look-out tower windows and arrow slits to the fortified walls and oak timbers, the unique silhouette showcases the timeless, undisturbed beauty of the Middle Ages.

Located in the protected preserve of the Lot valley, the home strikes a balance between updated luxury and rustic country charm. Romantic and elegant, the classic original features are evident in every room and have been lightly renovated with complementary materials and decor that enhance and highlight the historical aspects. With a total of five unique rooms, the entire residence accommodates up to 14, and you'll likely be sharing the estate with other happy travelers.

Each room is individually restored and enlarged for spacious privacy and comes equipped with modern en-suite baths. Carefully selected handmade antiques and decor tastefully complement and enhance the historic qualities and add to the comfort and understated elegance.

The pool and gardens are a peaceful place to lounge away the days, and you'll spot a unique tower on the property that was thought to have been a windmill. Passionate culinary enthusiasts, your hosts will prepare homegrown treats from the farm every morning as well as elegant dinners three days a week on the terrace.
