The Glamping Spirit

Enjoy the spirit of glamping in Italy with the comforts of a hotel in this unique collection of accommodations in the heart of Procida. Just offshore from Naples and a short stroll from the beach, this compound prompts you to reimagine life in touch with nature and island culture.

Located in the eastern part of the island within walking distance to the sea, the project was born from a love at first sight impression and a respect for the island's environment and surroundings.
Formerly a derelict property, the owners made the decision to restore as much as possible from the existing structures.

Centered around a private garden enclosed by ancient stone walls, the collection of distinctive accommodations helps guests to experience the laid-back vibe of Procida. Pairing local influences and styles with modern sensibilities, the compound was brought back to life, in idyllic island style.
The communal pool area is equipped with sunbeds and large umbrellas and there's a jacuzzi next to the risto bar, among the shady gardens filled with lemon trees.
Glamping wouldn't be complete without an outdoor cooking experience, and within one of the renovated cottages, a restored kitchen offers up the tastes of local cuisine.


ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Breakfast and snacks are served mornings and afternoons in the communal "campsite". Ease into your day with the yoga sessions on offer then grab an E-bike to tool around the island. Ask about renting a motorized dinghy from the staff to discover the hidden beaches and coves.


PROCIDA

One of the four Phlegraean Islands off the coast of Naples, Procida is the first island to be named Italy’s Capital of Culture for 2022. A tiny speck that lies fourteen miles off of the mainland, it's both a popular spot among Neapolitans and those in the know and conversely, an under-the-radar destination. Only two square miles around, the island offers some of the country's most undiscovered cultural and historic sites and great natural beauty.
Originally a fisherman’s settlement, the island maintains its humble heart and cultural roots and should be explored slowly.
Arriving in Marina Grande, you're greeted by the jumble of pastel-hued houses along the port, where you can stroll the main street cafes and soak in the historic atmosphere.
The 17th-century port of Corricella, the island's oldest fishing village, is a short walk down the opposite side of town and offers up a snapshot of island life as it's been for centuries.
Terra Murata, the cultural and historical heart of Procida lies at the highest point of the island, and although a bit of a trek, is worth the effort. At the top, the 16th century Palazzo d'Avalos was once the royal palace and was later converted into a prison and presides over the most spectacular views of the Bay of Naples and the tiny satellite island of Vivara.

The black sand beach of Chiaia is a ten-minute walk from the camp and has a small snack bar that sells drinks and bruschetta, while the island's other beaches, Ciraccio, Il Postino, and Chiaiolellaare are all within a kilometer of the camp.

Procida, Naples, Italy. Nearest Airport: Naples International Airport (25km). 22 kilometers off the coast of Naples, there are daily ferries and hydrofoils from two of the city’s piers, Molo Beverello and Porta di Massa, as well as from Pozzuoli, just north of Naples.
