The beach at Braunton is a five-minute stroll away, and the favored surfing beaches at Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are all less than 10 miles away. Small restaurants and bars are tucked into Braunton’s streets alongside several surf shops, and the town’s St. Brannocks Church is worth a visit.
