An Architect-Designed Triplex on Rue d'Enghien, Paris 10th
The Golden Light House sits on Rue d'Enghien in Paris's 10th arrondissement, between the Grands Boulevards and the Strasbourg–Saint-Denis axis. The architect-designed triplex reads as a coherent interior argument across three levels. Large windows on the main living floor draw a courtyard garden in. A private cinema below. Concierge-managed, with personal arrival arranged in advance.
The main living floor holds the salon, the kitchen, and a bathroom. The kitchen runs to open timber shelving, stone countertops, a Nespresso machine, and full appliances including dishwasher and oven. The living room, with its white linen sofas, woven pendant lamp and fireplace, opens directly to the terrace. The lower level is built around a vaulted amber-plastered arch: cinema setup, bar, and the first bedroom. The upper bedrooms have air conditioning, a genuine rarity in this part of Paris.
A private terrace sits off the main living floor, with a courtyard garden beyond. Despite the building's position on Rue d'Enghien, the quiet is noticeable, and the terrace functions as a genuine outdoor room.
What we love
We love the way the light moves through this space. With warm plaster walls and an amber glow by mid-afternoon, it feel less like a rental and more like someone's home. Rue d'Enghien puts you in the middle of the best version of the 10th: Passage Brady around the corner, Canal Saint-Martin a walk away. Come back to a Devialet in the living room and a cinema downstairs. Even the toys have been chosen with a design eye. For families who notice that kind of thing, this is the one.

Around
Rue d'Enghien is the 10th arrondissement without the performance of it. Passage Brady, Paris' Indian quarter, a covered passage operating since the 1800s, is four minutes on foot. The Strasbourg–Saint-Denis arch is at the end of the street. Sentier, now the city's creative and startup district, begins a block north. Canal Saint-Martin is a 20-minute walk east. The neighborhood rewards walking, for the covered passages, the independent restaurants that haven't been edited for tourists, the mix of cultures that makes this part of the 10th unlike anywhere else in Paris. The Metro at Strasbourg–Saint-Denis (Lines 4, 8, 9) and Bonne Nouvelle (Lines 8, 9) covers most of the city directly.
