A Philadelphia Landmark, Preserved and Restored to Inspire
Initially designed in 1917 as a grand hotel, one of the most architecturally striking residential apartment buildings in Philadelphia is now home to six vacation rentals. An extensive renovation has preserved all of the building's original historical beauty and details, while incorporating modern comforts and integrating smart, eco-friendly features. The stately limestone exteriors and common spaces reflect a vintage-meets-modern aesthetic, in a simple, classic design that never goes out of style.
Upholding the strictest historical preservation and environmental standards, the restoration has returned the building to its classic splendor with smartly integrated modern standards.
The details throughout are as surprising as they are inviting, with unique vintage and locally made artwork, and a lush, colorful atmosphere. The apartments are filled with natural light and feature classic, clean design with beautifully restored masonry, millwork and ironwork done by local artisans, hardwood oak floors, and original leaded glass windows (in some of the apartments) that reclaim its soul and timeless beauty for today.
