This spectacular home in India consists of three wooden cottages: the four-bedroom main house, a one-bedroom log cabin, and a two-bedroom unit. This listing is for the main house.Enter the main house and you will find a spacious living area spread across different levels. The kitchen sits at the top, with a dining area one level below, and a lounge on the bottom level. The four bedrooms are laid out below the peaked glass-roofline on two floors. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor (Nanda Devi and Trishul) which open up to the garden, while the other two bedrooms (Panchachuli and Neelkanth) offer a glimpse of the beautiful starry night sky through their glass roof.There is also Meraki (our two-bedroom unit) tucked away in a quaint corner, with an all-glass front and facing the majestic peaks of the Himalayas.Each unit has large windows that offer majestic glimpses into the Himalayan peaks: Trishul, Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Neelkanth, Nandaghunti and Nandakot, are all visible from the property.Explore This Himalayan PlaygroundAt the Woodhouse, there is plenty to do. Pluck a book from the mini-library (subjects center around travel, art, photography and more), take a hike through the forest, or check out the local culture in one of the nearby villages. The property is 45km from the popular town of Nainital and 12 km from Mukteshwar, a beautiful hilltop hamlet with a 350-year-old temple.   If you’d like to stay close, you could go bird-watching (the lush environment around the WoodHouse Farm is home to many different species of birds), or embrace your inner-self with some yoga (the property has Shunya, its own yoga deck). There are several easy walking and cycling paths around the area, and your caretaker is happy to guide you through thick forests and offbeat villages.
