This ancient farm and Saracen tower date back over 500 years and look much as they did then from the outside but are now equipped with a few light and welcoming contemporary updates. 

Located on over 300 acres of organic farmland on the southernmost coast of Sicily, this charming boutique B&B is entirely eco-friendly and will invite you to experience a unique part of Sicilian history.  The former Medieval fortified tower and aristocratic residence is constructed in and out from pale local stone and features bright open spaces and all original structural features. Noble in character and subtly updated in keeping with the rural agricultural history, the hotel is furnished with country charm and rustic elegance.

With a total of seven en-suite rooms designed for individual comfort and privacy, you'll have time to yourself as well as the opportunity to enjoy the farm, the restaurant, and the poolside atmosphere. Each of the rooms was inspired by a different wine produced and served on the property and all have enchanting sea and countryside views. 

The year round harvest provides La Moresca restaurant with fresh seasonal ingredients for the daily breakfast buffet and traditional Sicilian meals for dinner along with stellar private label wines of both red and white varietals, all served alfresco in the garden dining area. The farm also produces a wonderful array of proprietary products under the BIO brand from their organic Natura Iblea farm.

ISPICA AND THE VAL DI NOTO

Situated just a few miles from the coast in the Ragusa region in the town of Ispica and near to the Val di Noto, there are nearby UNESCO treasures everywhere. The “sister” cities of Modica, Ragusa and Scicli, are all stunning examples of the greater Val di Noto Baroque settlements reachable in under an hour. 

Marina di Modica, Marina di Ragusa and Sampieri and Pozzallo beaches are some of the best on the island in just a short drive. Nearby Noto is also a historic UNESCO World Heritage site with stunning wall to wall Baroque architecture. Syracuse and Catania are up the coast a ways along with the famous Mt. Etna.
