This beach house rental in Greece is located right on Ammouso Bay, just steps from the sea. From its spot just above the shore, you can take in Ionian Sea views with the rugged island landscapes at your back. 

The building is whitewashed in traditional island style with colorful blue accents that mimic the sea. The interiors are bright and airy spaces with cool concrete floors, vaulted wood ceilings, and bursts of color. Simple modern furnishings and decorative pieces create stylish spaces that are inviting and casual.

The open-plan living room includes a fully equipped modern kitchen with an adjacent dining area and an atrium style sitting area overlooking the water, and there are three double bedrooms that sleep up to six guests.

The ocean-facing swimming pool is surrounded by stone walkways and a terrace as well as an outdoor dining area shaded by a wooden pergola.

Connected to the mainland by bridge, the Ionian island of Lefkada is a land of myth and beauty. Legend has it that it is the site of Homer’s Ithaka as well as home to the myth of Sappho’s suicide at Cape Lefkatas. 

With turquoise seas and green mountainous inlands, it's an island of contrasts and ancient culture. The capital in the north is a charming historic town of churches, excellent restaurants and tavernas that serve the best of the bounty from the land and sea, and authentic shops and boutiques among its twisting narrow streets.

The west coast is home to the famous sparkling clear beaches of Kalamitsi, Milos, Kathisma, Eggremnoi, and Porto Katsiki, while the east side is famous for its charming traditional villages and port towns of Nikiana and Nudri and Lugia.

Closer to home are the neighbouring harbor villages Vasiliki and Sivotay, offering the best of local island cuisine and famed Lefkaditiki wines and the beaches of Agiofyli and Afteli.
