A History Carved in Stone
We love how stone can tell a story that transports you back in time, and this villa for rent in Puglia makes time stand still. Classic, romantic, and beautifully restored and adapted for modern living, this cluster of trulli date back to the early 19th century and remain remarkably authentic. Once part of an agricultural farm, the property is still surrounded by five acres of verdant olive groves in the rural Valle d'Itria.

Constructed entirely of stone, the home's iconic conical forms reveal modest and elegantly simple interiors that are smartly and stylishly modified, enhanced by a bohemian-chic sense of style.
The finely tuned details are what makes this villa unique, where every object has a story and the charming original features are highlighted.
The villa includes a lovely sitting room with a fireplace and has two fully equipped kitchens that still have their original wood-burning fireplaces, along with a beautiful dining room set in what was once the stables.
There are five bedrooms in total, the two single bedrooms have a shared bathroom with a nice soaking tub and a shower room featuring original mosaics. Three of the bedrooms are en suite, and one has an independent entrance.
The thick stone walls ensure the house remains cool during hot summer days and warm in winter, with all the electricity sustainably produced by solar and photovoltaic systems. The grounds are composed of terraced gardens with peaceful lounge spots and shady alfresco dining areas leading down to a large pool among the olive groves.
A remarkably preserved property, this home offers up an authentic and relaxing place to enjoy the beauty and history of Puglia.
