Located at the entrance of Bastia and the Cap Corse on over an acre of lush mountain terrain, this private villa overlooking the sea and the old village of Erbalunga has been transformed into an intimate home with just two private rooms for guests. Minutes from Bastia, you will be at the gates of Cap Corse, the "island on the island", whose Genoese towers and sweeping landscapes add to the unique wild character of this multi-faceted area.

Nestled into a peaceful setting, the owners have designed their home as an inspiring and artistic island retreat. Owners Marie-Pierre, a sculptor and plastic artist, and Patrick, a writer, share their passion for art and the relaxing Mediterranean lifestyle through unique design and hospitality and have designed the house as a place where artists meet for workshops, exhibitions, and conferences.

The large main room includes soaring ceilings with a stairway leading to a library with cozy fireside seating areas as well as a dining area that opens out to the gardens. Head out to the gardens where you can lounge and sunbathe by the pool and take in the endless horizon.

There are two bedrooms with private bathrooms. The seaview bedroom has a king-sized bed and a sofabed for one guest. The garden-view bedroom has a queen-sized bed.

Located in Erbalunga along Cap Corse just outside of the port of Bastia, the house is just above the Tyrrhenian coast. The town of Bastia is full of art and history and a great seaside city for walking. The charming fishing port and sandy coves of Miomo and the Brando region are close by as are the vineyards of Patrimonio to the west and the Gulf of Saint Florent. Ile Rousse Calvi is just over an hour's drive.
