Just a kilometer and a half from the nearest beach, this detached villa offers unobstructed Mediterranean vistas and a fully renovated, beach-house-styled interior created by its owner, interior designer Barbara Maillard. Italian vintage pieces join sleek modern spaces, and the home’s panoramic verandas are furnished for entertaining and unwinding.

The home’s lower level features a spacious living room with a fireplace, a dining table for eight, and a cozy sitting area. The modern kitchen makes indoor and outdoor dining a pleasure. The first floor is also home to the primary Sunrise bedroom for two and a luxurious tiled bathroom with double sinks, a walk-in shower and a bidet.

Upstairs, the Ocean and Blossom bedrooms both offer access to the roof terrace with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean. The bedrooms share a bathroom with a double sink, bidet and shower. Ocean was designed for two, and Blossom can fit up to four guests, with its overflow sofa bed.

The home is set in an enclosed garden with private parking in front of the front door. A shaded veranda features sofa seating and a dining table, and there’s a garden barbecue and an outdoor bathroom with a toilet and shower space as well as a trampoline. The roof terrace, accessed via the upstairs bedrooms, is furnished with cushy seating and a sun parasol, and lets you soak up the Mediterranean sunshine unhindered.

A 4.5m x 9m swimming pool will be completed in May of 2025.

Additional Features: Please note that a cleaning fee of 200 Euros is to be collected upon arrival. The home's linens include a beach towel per person as well as bed/bath linens. For stays longer than 1 week, a linen change can be arranged by request. There is a laundry room (washer/dryer) on site for guest use.

Located in a quiet residential area on a 1000-square-meter lawn, the home is fully fenced, private, and independent. The nearest beach, Capitana, is only 1.5 kilometers from the house, and the bustling seaside resorts of Costa Rei, Villasimius, and Chia are all nearby. The villa’s town is Quartu Sant’Elena – Capitana, on the south coast of Sardinia. The island’s third biggest city, Quartu Sant’Elena is set on the ancient Roman road four miles east of Cagliari. A former agricultural center, the town and region is still known for its production of Malvasia wines. While its coastline is its main draw, the region is also popular for its nearby mountains and forests in two park areas, the Oasis of Sette Fratelli and the Molentargius-Saline Park, both great for hiking or biking and both home to flamingo colonies worth visiting.

The Quartu coast stretches for miles along the eastern part of the Golfo degli Angeli, offering sheer cliffs and sandy beaches, pebbled coves and lively ports. Capitana, only 1.5 kilometers away, is known for its pretty port and its hills blanketed by eucalyptus trees and tall poplars. The natural pools of Mortorius shouldn’t be missed, and beaches offer a variety of landscapes—Cala Regina with its pebbles, Is Canaleddus and Mari Pintau marked by smooth stones and dazzling sea, and Geremeas, with its powdery sands and white beaches at Kala ‘e Moru and Marongiu.
