Linked by an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, this contemporary Cycladic home consists of two identical stone wings, each with five en-suite bedrooms. The spacious site, perched above Agios Georgios Beach on Antiparos can host up to 20 guests, making it an ideal spot for families or friend groups seeking an easygoing island getaway together.

The vast villa is anchored by its common areas and an inviting pool terrace. The layout is fluid and simple, allowing for privacy as well as entertaining. The living room faces the sea and opens to the modern kitchen. Each wing’s two upper-level double bedrooms share a terrace, and there’s an additional twin room in each wing with an en-suite bathroom. Lower levels feature a double bedroom and double twin room, both with bathrooms.

Outdoors, the 8m x 3m pool spans the seafront terrace, with both shaded and sunny lounge spaces, and a trio of outdoor dining areas.

Concierge service and daily cleaning are provided, and there’s on-site parking.

Located only three minutes’ drive from Agios Georgios beach and less than 10 minutes from a handful of others (Soros 4km, Apantima 5km, Sostis 5km, Faneromeni 7km), the villa makes a great place for exploring the Cycladic isle’s striking sands. Agios Giorgios beach is known as Captain Pipinos beach, a stony stretch of sand to Pipinos, a seafood restaurant that’s one of the best in the Cyclades. There aren’t beach clubs or umbrellas, but the wild sands offer clear views of Despotiko Island and deliciously calm, turquoise waters. The picturesque bay beach is close to a handful of other fish taverns and cafes selling the daily catch, and you can embark on boat tours to Despotiko. Nearby Apantma Beach is also sheltered from the wind, offering a pebbly coast and rocky sea bottom, with a beach bar/restaurant and club.

Across from house, the islet of Despotiko rises from the Aegean Sea. In ancient times, the island was populated, and today there are archeological sites, including an ancient sanctuary, worth visiting. The intact structure dates from the seventh century BC and was used through Roman times. There are also Early Cycladic cemeteries on the isle, and the remains of a Doric temple. The pretty beach of Livadi on Despotiko is known for its silvery sands.

Twelve kilometers from the villa is Chora Antiparos village, the island’s main town and port, with a marketplace, cobbled streets and whitewashed homes accented in Cycladic blues. Its Venetian castle and fortress area with its four ancient churches are must visits, and the town is the destination for those seeking nightlife.
