The Tarot Garden, a psychedelic, dazzling, mirrored and mosaicked extravaganza, represents the 22 major arcana of the esoteric tarot and occupies 14 acres of an abandoned quarry. This part of Tuscany is referred to as the Maremma, and the region is known for its small towns—Capalbio, Manciano, and Orbetello and its Etruscan ruins, as well as its wide sandy beaches and dune blanketed coastline. This is where Tuscany meets the region of Lazio. The beaches near Capalbio are famed in Italy, with an exclusive, “when you know, you know” vibe. The stays in the villa come with access to L’Ultima Spiaggia Beach Club, one of the country’s most famous private spots on Chiarone Beach.
